Sample this and that
Welcome to Sample's blog. I am a mom of three young girls and live in a great neighborhood and community. A very small town with a huge heart. I struggle with a theme for my blog, so I will just tell you that it is about everyday life as a mom, wife, friend, community journalist and sports enthusiast. I truly believe everyone is interesting and has a story to tell. I hope to share some interesting, funny, insightful and informative blogs that you can relate to as a parent, friend, neighbor, YMCA sports fan, working mom, dad, at home or outside the home, everyday joe about everyday life.

Spring break has come and gone. We spent a week in Peoria, Ariz., at my mom and dad's casita. The 13-hour drive with three kids and our dog was surprisingly uneventful. The weather was perfect, 80's and sunny, of course, every day.
Swimming, golf, tennis, shopping and a sunset ritual with my dad's golf cart.
We were told there were coyotes that show up every evening by the driving range of one of the courses. So every night, Grandpa would take the girls on the search. They never did see them, but they learned how to drive his golf cart.
Another ritual the girls like to do when we are visiting is go to In 'N Out Burger. Personally, I liked the sushi restaurant we found at Jobing.com Arena, the Phoenix Coyotes NHL complex. The yellowtail with white onion was the best I have ever had.
We sat outside on the deck overlooking a dancing water fountain show containing 60,000 gallons of water. The thought of raw fish turns my dad green, but he was a trooper and ordered a steak.
We want to read your restaurant reviews. Publish them at ColoradoSprings.com. Look for the blue box on the top right. You may win a dinner for two at the restaurant of your choice. Be it raw fish, steak or burgers.
