23 Colorado Springs athletes, from Artsports, scored big winning 11 gold, 12 silver and 8 bronze medals, including 53 Top Ten finishes at the country's largest regionalchampionships in Houston, Texas, May 11-13. Over 900 trampolinists and power tumblers showed their stuff at the six state competition. Artsportsboasts several regional all stars and35athletes with 85qualifications to the national championships in Memphis, Tenn.America's best "Air Athletes" compete from June 20-28 with over 1600 top athletes. Events included Trampoline, Synchronized Trampolineand Power Tumbling, all of which are now medal events in gymnastics at the 2008 Olympics in Bajing, China.

Colorado Coach of the Year, Tex Womack was excited and surprised by his team's success. "I really don't think about how good these kids are until you go to a really big meet like this. Even team coaches from other states were congratulating our kids. They are impressive."
