Art in Nature: It's All Around You (grades 4&5)

What:	Do you like producing pieces of art? Do you enjoy spending time outdoors with nature? Are you inquisitive about the wonders of nature? If so, this class is meant for you. Together with your instructor, you will be searching the outdoors for objects, looking for fascinating forms in our world. Then you will use these materials to make interesting pieces of art. You will learn scientific ideas that help explain some of the processes of nature, as you create artwork from the environment. This class is perfect for students who enjoy exploring nature and art and are willing to spend time outdoors. Pay the instructor $18 for supplies. $62/6 sessions; Limit: 13 (max.), 9 (min.) - open to the public Pre-registration required.
