Coffee break with liberal vegan dad
It’s not easy being dad ... or vegetarian ... or liberal. I'll be writing about all three.

Yesterday was Valentine's Day and Men's Fitness recently voted Colorado Springs as the nation's fittest city. Can anyone out there think of a way to celebrate?
I'm talking about tackling a local trail with a loved one, of course (minds out of the gutter, people). When my wife and first moved to Colorado Springs five years ago, one of our favorite after-work activities was going for a run in Palmer Park. We just couldn't believe that such a fantastic oasis existed inside the city limits. Since then, we've discovered myriad other trails around the city, some more well-traveled than others.
If you're a trail runner, you know the fun of finding a new trail that's not overrun with people. That's why I'm so excited that citizen journalist Mark Maloney Has begun his
"Cool Trails Less Traveled"
series. What a cool way to find out about new and/or lesser known trails in the region!
Do you have any trails you enjoy that you wouldn't mind sharing with others? Log in to YourHub and post your story. We'd love to hear from you.
