Two Lewis-Palmer hokey players were inducted into The Colorado High School Ice Hockey Coaches Association with Honorable Mention votes. These two exerpts were written in by their parents.
Keith Yates:
This is Keith's first year playing ice hockey. His first ever ice hockey game was club hockey in September, 2006. Keithhas been playing roller hockey since he was 10-years-old and was selected to play for the U.S.under 16 National Inline team last year. He loves all sports, but mostly hewants todo what many
of his friends do, play hockey.And it doesn't matter if it's Ice or Roller.
Michael Hitesman:
Here is a quick run-down on Michael: Born in 1989 in Victoria British Columbia, Canada. Currently attending Grade 12 at Lewis Palmer High School
He hasplayed goal for the past nine years, last three here in Colorado, playing for CSAHA Junior Tigers Minor Midget AA, Colorado Outlaw Minor Midget AAA, the CHC Major Midget AA and Lewis-Palmer High School
Upon graduation from Lewis Palmer he will be moving back to Ottawa, Ontario Canada where he hopes to play Junior hockey and continue with his post-secondary education.
