I was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, I've been playing hockey since first grade. I was fortunate enough to be coached by some great coaches.
Freshman year I was able to play high school hockey for Liberty with my older brother Michael something that I've never been able to do and its something I'll never forget, sadly though I ruptured my spleen halfway through the year and wasn't able to play the rest of the season. I played for Liberty my sophomore year as well. One of my greatest moments was getting the official announcement that Lewis-Palmer was getting an ice hockey team. Playing with the kids we had on the team this year was phenomenal, the kids were unbelievable and I loved every second of it. For the first time there wasn't a moment during the season where I didn't want to be with those guys. Playing on our home ice in front of our fans is a once in a lifetime experience. We have amazing fans and they pack the rink for every game. I cant say enough about how awesome our fans are. After high school my goal is to play junior hockey. Its very special to play a varsity sport for your own school and some kids take that for granted..... But not us.
