AC/DC TRIBUTE BAND BIG GUN TO APPEAR IN SPRINGS

The Thirsty Parrot is bringing another fantastic concert to Colorado Springs. Big Gun is an AC/DC tribute band from Knoxville, Tennessee. They will be appearing at the Thirsty Parrot on Tuesday, March 25 at 8pm. In late 2001, an idea developed in the minds of a few local Knoxville, Tennessee rockers. With endless amounts of dedication and time, it wasn't long before Big Gun was born. In early 2002, the dream came true and since then, Big Gun has toured the country to packed house everywhere. The band consists of Kenny Qualls as Angus young; Andy Bowman as Brian Johnson/Bon Scott; Dean Johnson as Malcolm young; Clark Walker as Cliff Williams; Kevin Frank as Phil Rudd. As the band explains, "Our work is a tribute to one of the greatest forces in rock and roll. We hope that this is worthy of the band who inspired it. If it sounds good, it is only because we stood on the shoulders of giants - Thanks AC DC! We Salute YOU!"
