The Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.) is a technique which is widely used by health care practitioners all over the world who practice mind/body healing, and who recognize the body is more than the sum of its parts. It's a system of health care that is truly state-of-the-art in balancing body/mind/memory/soul energyfields by removing interference between your body and the power that made your body. When this interference exists, symptoms develop and health deteriorates.

Everything the body does is for the sole purpose of survival, right now. It isn't designed to be sick or healthy. It is designed to survive the conditions of the moment, and it deals with these conditions by responding to the greatest threat to survival first - whatever is in top priority.
You may feel terrible, but your body is doing the best it can under the circumstances you have provided for it based on your choices in six essential areas - what you eat and drink, how you exercise and rest, how and what you breathe, and what you think. If something isn't done to update the current status of the threat and remove the interference created, your body's response is, in effect, stuck, and keeps responding over and over to old information causing that particular system to become exhausted. This leads to pain and disease.

Your emotions and thoughts play a major role in your health. Think about something that you really hate or someone who really bothers you. It is actually possible to increase your heart rate, tense up your shoulders, bring on a headache, or make yourself sick to your stomach by just thinking about it! Or, think about a bright yellow lemon. See it clearly in your mind's eye. Now, picture cutting the lemon right down the middle. Then picture yourself picking up half and squeezing the juice out right into your mouth on top of your tongue, and you swallowing the juice. Can you see how what you think can actually change your bodily function? Did you salivate more just thinking about it?

5 steps
to health
1. Relief from pain
This important step addresses the immediate distress you are feeling, which is to find the cause of the pain and, through gentle B.E.S.T. treatments and/or therapy, achieve relief. Then we can go to step 2.
2. Correcting the cause
The path toward permanent relief must include finding the actual cause of the pain or distresss. Often, the actual cause is not obvious, because pain can be located in one part of the body while the cause is located in another. Causes of distress occur from three areas: trauma, toxicity, and thoughts. This means stress from injury, dietary insufficiencies, or emotional reactions that cause interference in your body. In all cases, the actual cause of pain or distress must be identified and corrected. Otherwise symptoms will return.
3. Living healthy
Once the cause of distress and pain has been discovered and corrected, changes in the living habits that caused the symptoms in the first place must be addressed. This may involve dietary and physical exercise changes. These enable you to realize the benefits of a healthy life.
4. Thinking healthy
Once Step 3 is achieved, it is important to address ways to avoid the distress of negative thoughts, and learn to think healthy. Your body operates as a whole, which means what affects your physical condition changes your attitudes and feelings. Likewise, the way you feel and think affects your body. When you learn to think healthy, you address the whole person. This prepares you for Step 5.
5. Staying healthy
Now that pain has been relieved, the causes corrected, and we have learned how to live and think healthy, we are prepared to stay healthy. However, this does not occur automatically. We must always be alert to the fact that it is easy to go back to old habits and living patterns. But because we have taken the correct steps, we are now ready to stay healthy and achieve the benefits of permanent good health.
Your Choices Matter
The choices you make in six essential areas determine whether you follow a lifestyle that results in permanent good health or one that can lead to distress, illness, depression ... and unbalanced system that leads to disease.
What you eat.
Your diet should consist of approximately 75% fruits and vegetables and 25% everything else. This keeps you body alkaline (its natural state) instead of acidic. It is in this state your body is most able to fight injury and disease.
What you drink.
Avoid stimulants such as coffee and alcohol. Drink mostly fruit juices and water. Reverse osmosis water is recommended.
How you exercise.
Get 30 minutes of whole body exercise three times a week. Help your body stay flexible. You'll be surprised at how good it feels and how the tendency to suffer injuries is reduced.
How you rest.
Good sleep every night (6-8 hours) is essential to your body's ability to heal and recharge itself. Avoid stimulants and heavy meals before you go to sleep.
What and how you breathe.
You should breathe from your abdomen, not raising and lowering your shoulders with each breath. Clean, smoke-free air is also essential to permanent good health. If you can smell the air you breathe, it is probably not healthy.
What you think.
Choices in this area are more important than in all the other areas combined! Negative thinking, judgment, indecisiveness, and worry all build up over time and wear your body down. Think about what you think about, and focus on more positive, loving thinking.
