Annual Fire Muster

The Annual Fire Muster was held on Saturday June 30, 2007 at the Citadel Mall parking lot. Fun was had by all as we tried to stay hydrated in the heat. Hundreds of people, young and old, came to see the shiny, big, red trucks, hazmat decontamination equipment, eat food, and watch demonstrations of extrication, a propane burn, and a real car fire. Both Flight for Life and Memorial Star were landed side by side and children took turns sitting in the seat as parents took pictures. There was also a truck pulling contest which the combination of the big, strong guys of Ft. Carson Fire and Hanover combined forces to win, pulling Black Forest's water tender over 30 feet.
