Shopper's Guide to Healthy Living
I am not a doctor, so I cannot diagnose or treat disease. What I am is a wife and mother who has become slightly obsessed (okay my family would say I have become very obsessed!) with eating and living healthy in today's busy world. In this fast lifestyle it is easy to feel caught in the processed and convenience food trap. It seems too time consuming and expensive to eat natural food the way God made it. My blog is written to help make it easier to eat and live healthier without wasting unecessary time or money doing it. I will give you ideas on what to buy, where to buy it and, at times, how to make it at home. There are natural aids to improve immune systems and foods we can take that may help strengthen weak areas of our bodies. Did you know that olive oil and walnut oil can replace vegetable oil in all your recipes? Or that garlic will improve your immune system? Did you know that the shampoos you are using may have anti-freeze (propylene glycol) and many other poisons? If you have questions about natural ways to improve your family's health, just ask and I will work to help find an answer.

If you are eating fruits and vegetables treated with pesticides, meat with hormones, caged chickens and their eggs, or processed crackers and chips - the answer is yes, you are eating poison everyday.
But don't let it cause you to worry or want to give up, just make choices to purchase organic produce, free range natural chicken, eggs, and beef . Then go further and buy crackers and chips with out partially hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup. Sound impossible? It's not as hard as it seems and I would love to give you ideas on where to start.
