Oh, no. No reservations for Mother's Day!

As usual, the day before Mother's Day found my husband, Scott, wondering where to take me for Mother's Day. As usual, he said, "Where would you like to go?" "Well, it doesn't matter where I want to go; everything will be booked by now."

We looked in the yellow pages and found the India Palace on North Academy Boulevard and called. They said they were not taking reservations as none were needed!

We were so excited as we do love Indian food.
It was a fantastic meal (a few tables still available!) and just for the special occasion, they had prepared a homemade tomato soup, which was the best ever! I guess most people do not think of taking Mother to an Indian restaurant but for me it was the best.
