"A Second Cup, Casual Cuisine for the Whole Family", recently opened in the former Barracuda Bob's site in the strip mall at 13860 Gleneagle Drive. It is operated by the owners of the "Coffee Cup Café", 251 Front St., Monument. Very reasonably priced breakfasts starting at $3.59 (available all day long), burgers, sandwiches, and dinner entrees.
Lunch selections include a Build Your Own Burger starting at $4.79, sandwiches such as Hot Pastrami or Reuben, or platters such as 2 boneless pork chops served with a side and vegetable of the day for $7.99. Appetizers include soups like Mexican Minestrone or Spinach Matzo Ball Soup. Dinners start at $7.99 for Mahi Fish Tacos, to $17.99 for New York Strip.
"Dinners at A Second Cup are fresh and homemade with a full infant, toddler and kids menu." Full bar with happy hour 4 pm to 6 pm. The bar is separated from the dining area with a glass topped wall. Hours are Tues. to Sat. 6 am to 9 pm, Sunday 6 am to 2 pm. The phone number is 481-6446.
