Sample this and that
Welcome to Sample's blog. I am a mom of three young girls and live in a great neighborhood and community. A very small town with a huge heart. I struggle with a theme for my blog, so I will just tell you that it is about everyday life as a mom, wife, friend, community journalist and sports enthusiast. I truly believe everyone is interesting and has a story to tell. I hope to share some interesting, funny, insightful and informative blogs that you can relate to as a parent, friend, neighbor, YMCA sports fan, working mom, dad, at home or outside the home, everyday joe about everyday life.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Black Forest neighborhood and community this week. I have lived in Monument for six years, but still haven't spent much time in the forest.
This is definitely horse country. Everyone I spoke to had an association with one or more horses, was in business because of horses, or had just moved to the forest because of horses.
The people were all very friendly, open and very, very relaxed. Here are some of the faces and places I was fortunate to see and hear about.
