Paragliding in Colorado Springs

This Blog is a place to share pictures and stories about paragliding. I hope that one day there will be a paragliding club or organization in Colorado Springs, if there isn't one already. I learned to paraglide in Turkey where I lived for over 5 years. Now that I'm back in the US, I look forward to getting my license and paragliding around Colorado Springs. I am also interested in meeting Turks that live in the Springs area. I'm fluent in Turkish (and don't want to lose my language skills) and my children speak and understand Turkish too.

The first time I flew a paraglider was in Turkey, and since then I've never been the same! I was immediately addicted to this exciting sport. The exhilaration of lifting off the ground with an unpowered wing that fits into a backpack...words can't describe how awesome the experience is.

Now that I have relocated to the US, I'll be looking into getting my license and flying here in Colorado. I'm especially interested in finding other pilots in the Colorado Springs area who share my passion. Maybe we could use this Blog as a point of connection. Feel free to post your images here, and I hope that someday soon we can meet nearby for a day of flying.
