Good Shepherd United Methodist Church of Security welcomes all. During July, greeters for the 9 a.m. Sunday service are Larry and Evelyn Bowers and Herman and Melba Williams. It is the right time of year to begin thinking about Chancel Choir Rehearsal. Practice will begin on Wednesday at 7 p.m.on August 20. All are welcome who love to sing to the glory of God. Don Cohu will be music director beginning August 1.

Good Shepherd has joined the "think green" community and is offering environmentally friendly bags to use at the grocery store to combat the throw-away question at check-out.."paper or plastic?" They are just $2 each and hold more than 3 plastic bags and stand upstraight in your car for transport.
United Methodist Women are meeting on Saturday, July 19, at the church to clean up and organize the church kitchen. After all the hard work, they will go out to lunch together, according to Joyce Pedersen, president. .
