A woman named Janice sent an email that said
that buying my stuff was just giving in to violence,
and she was convinced that peaceful solutions
would always win out.

Well...I hate to say it, but Janice is a sister
from another planet.

I've dealt with guys who would cut her heart
out without so much as a thought about it. If
she was preaching peace, that would make it even
better for them.

A great many of today's Criminals are sociopaths.
The only thing they care about, if they care
about anything at all, is themselves. You don't
count. Your philosophy doesn't count. They exist
only for themselves, and what they want, at all
times, and if you get in their way you are
certainly going to get hurt, if not killed.

Then they will tell the police, as a sick
criminal in Richmond, Virginia did, that a young
woman strangled herself during sex. Funny that
her wrists had duct tape marks all over them.

He hasn't even been charged yet.

Last night in Washington a couple was stabbed.
He's critical, she's in better shape.

There was a carjacking right downtown.

The peace train ain't coming Janice, no matter
how many times you play the Cat Stevens song.

I think his name is Yusef now anyway.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It's a nice thought, and I used to sing
along myself a long time ago. But then I went
back to the real world, and the view isn't
always pretty.

What if...that's not really what you want to
be asking when the chips fall Janice. They always
fall somewhere, and so far you've been lucky.

You'd be a lot better off with a Cell Phone Stun Gun
on you, so you can make the right decision when the
time comes.
