Local Fighter Makes Olympic Team

Local fighter Clarissa Chun, who trains at the Colorado Fight Factory in Colorado Springs, has made the United States Olmypic team.

Clarissa was able to step up and sweep the competition in the Olympic Trials at UNLV's Thomas and Mack Center. The sweep included a defeat of the heavily favored 2004 Olympic bronze medalist Patricia Miranda. With a whole lot of hard work, heart and determination she will be representing the United States in Beijing for the 2008 Olympics Clarrisa will be representing the USA Olympic Team in Freestyle Wresting.
