A "Bobby Jack" Cake for Brianna

My friend Teresa's, daughter, Brianna, had a birthday in December. When she saw the "Lowrider" and "Angel" cakes I made for some ladies at Curves, she begged her mom to let me make her cake.

When the special day neared, I told Teresa I'd do the cake as a birthday gift, and asked what Brianna would like. Because she loves monkeys, and "Bobby Jack" is the handsomest around (not to mention he's all the rage among 'tweeners), Teresa didn't hesitate on what to request. Teresa's mother had just bought the Bobby Jack bedroom linen set (comforter, sheets, curtains, pillows) for Brianna for Christmas, and having Bobby Jack for her birthday would be the "icing on the cake" (pardon the pun!).
