When it comes to happiness and having the life of our dreams, there tends to be two thought processes of people. Some people believe that despite what they have their hearts set on, is out of their reach or beyond their control. Instead of seizing the day and the vast range of possibilities presented, they resign themselves that good is not achievable. Then there are those who relentlessly pursue their dreams. These individuals see possibilities and potential where others see only obstacles and roadblocks. As a result, they never seem to run out of promising possibilities to pursue.
"Lots of people limit their possibilities by giving up easily.
Never tell yourself this is too much for me.
If you do you're licked, and by your own thinking too.
Keep believing and keep on keeping on."
Norman Vincent Peale
How do you presently see the world around you? Do you consistently see an endless procession of possibilities passing your way every day or does it sometimes seem like that possibility parade never comes down your street? Do your aspirations become possibilities or just sit in the back of your mind as a distant dream?
Regardless of whether we realize it or not, each of us holds within ourselves a mighty reservoir of potential that is capable of taking us places we can barely imagine ourselves going. Yet time and time again we neglect to tap into our amazing ability and by failing to do so, we severely limit our possibilities in the process. Instead of getting excited about the possibilities for our future, we unknowingly set limits on just about everything we say, think and do. Rather than making our lives the inspiring triumph we deserve to be, we sadly saddle ourselves with hopelessness and despair.
"Let your imagination release your imprisoned possibilities."
Robert Schuller
We all have possibilities we are not aware of. We can do things we don't even dream we can do. The moment you finally let go and allow your creative imagination to let loose, all of those possibilities you've noticed will suddenly begin to appear before you. When you begin approaching each new day as a day of possibility, a world you never knew existed will unveil itself to you.
Be good to yourself and others this week,
Kevin
