Holiday Time Means Zipper Woes

Can't get your zipper up? Can't get it down?

Blame it on the holidays or blame it on your washing machine.

But we know a quick fix.

First, though, do not forget to zip all zippers before washing!

Then, if your zipper will not stay zipped, try spraying it with hairspray right after washing. You will have to do this after every wash, but it will work. Be careful not to get the hairspray on the fabric.

If your zipper is down and won't go up (or up and won't go down), take a bar of soap or a candle and rub it over the teeth of the zipper. Then move the zipper up and down a few times. This should fix it.
