Lets go for a ride with some cowboys

This story and pictures are of the July 11th thru the 15th Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo 2007 . I took over 3,000 pictures for the Rodeo and finally have had the time to put some pictures on the Hub.There will be pictures in another article next week, I can't put them all in this article .So enjoy these and check next week for more on the rodeo 2007.

This rodeo was a blast , and so much fun .You get to talk to the Cowboys and take there pictures. And what you proabably don't know is they have special days that the rodeo is free . It's called Slacking where the cowboys rope the calfs and rope the steer. There are so many of these cowboys that they can't put them all in at night to compete so they compete in the daytime ,then the winners ride and compete in the rodeo at night. You can go to watch these guys 4 out of 5 days and it' free to the public. So if you have a lot of kids that like rodeos and you can't afford the price of a ticket, remember this next year. The kids and you will love it plus you have the best seats in the house.You don't get to see any horse back riding or bull riding but its so worth going. Plus the riders appreciate the cheering.
