Beginning June 9 until August 8, for about the same cost as a babysitter or daycare, children ages 5-13 can experience hands-on, inspirational learning opportunities which will educate them about the fascinating world around them through a wide variety of summer programs at the Renaissance Academy Environmental Center.

Located on 22 beautiful acres in the Mountain Shadows area on the west side, RAEC offers half-day and full-day youth programs throughout the summer. Students will be stimulated by an experiential education curriculum that is designed to foster an appreciation of nature. Their goal is to inspire a set of ethics that spurs young people to nurture, respect and preserve the world around us. All half day and full day participants may also sign up for pre- and post-program care as needed.

The cost for each class includes materials. RAEC will also be offering special programs, including pre/post program care starting at 8 a.m., a Wilderness First-Aid course, and the ability to customize a program based on the needs of your group.
