What's Cooking at Evergreen Cemetery

The Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society is busy collecting recipes for a fund raising cookbook. The proceeds of which will be used to fund various restoration projects throughout the cemetery.

You may ask yourself, a cemetery cookbook? The answer is very simple. Cemeteries are places of memories. Memories of family and friends and of all the celebrations throughout a lifetime. Think of all the wonderful food at a family reunion that everyone brings to share.

We have received recipes from many people in the community and around the state. Many of these are in memory of a loved one. What a fitting tribute. To see one of these special recipes please visit our site at www.evergreencemeterysociety.com
