The setting is the Great Hall of Macabre Manor,1939
Welcome to the Dupree's house-warming party.
Our Murder Mystery at Macabre Manor was held on April 14th, at Colorado College's Historic Bemis Hall. The event was hosted by Colorado College and Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society.
With asold-out performance, our guests were transported back in time to an Old English castle to help solve a murder. Reminiscent of those classic horror films of the 30's and 40's, Murder at the Manor has been a favorite with audiences coming in 1930's costumes. Ladies of the Evergreen society arrived in long black dresses with veils, some in ruffels, petticoats, men in tux's, others in costumes.
The cast of characters were from Red Herring Productions. If you haven't been to one of their productions, you are missing out on seeing a great show. All you could hear all evening was laughter from all the guests as they were trying to solve this mystery.
Guests at each table were asked to gather up clues that were giving to them by the cast members. Only one table figured this mystery out, the rest of us just couldn't believe "who dunnit."
The table of sleuths that solved the mystery was inducted into the Hall of Shamus where all the "strange detectives" go. This table actually proved that, "The Butler did do i." This "Who Dunnit" turned out to be so much fun especially for us first-time detectives.
I would like to say thanks on behalf of all of us volunteers from the Evergreen Cemetery society to the caterer for the wonderful food and wine; the waiters and waitresses for such great service; the Red Herring Productions for a great production; and special thanks to Colorado College for a lovely and memorable evening.
If you or any of your friends were at this event ,or if you see someone in the photos that you know, please tell them about this page at YourHub (find it at ColoradoSprings.com.) They might find it enjoyable looking through the pictures, finding pictures of themselves and their friends. If you find a photo and would like a copy, you can leave me a message on this web page .

What a nice way to commemorate this event. The room was packed. As a matter of fact it was a sold out event. The pictures are wonderful and represent almost evrybody that was there. Thank you Jane!
