Play Hard Ball...not Softball!
Are you one who day dreams about the good old days; times of your youth spent playing Legion-, High School-, or Collegiate-level baseball? If given the chance could you still hit like you did back then? Want to find out? Baseball is alive and well for amateur adults right here in the Springs!
The Indians Baseball Club is seeking players 28 and older interested in playing baseball in the 2007 season. Players with high school or collegiate-level experience at any position should inquire, regardless of the time you've sat out. The Indians participate in the Men's Senior Baseball League (MSBL) of Southern Colorado; a competitive, recreational hardball league for adults in the Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Monument communities.
The league offers each of its fifteen (15) teams a 16-game regular season schedule with the top teams in each division playing in a post season tournament. Practices begin mid-March (weather permitting) with the season opener planned for 15 April. Games are played primarily on weekends with an occasional weeknight game. All games are played in Colorado Springs.
The MSBL of Southern Colorado is affiliated with a National Organization that holds tournament play for those interested in locations such as: Las Vegas, Palm Springs, and Disney World. In addition it sponsors a World Series every year in Phoenix Arizona where teams of various skills and ages groups compete in a national championship tourney; many of these games are played at MLB Spring Training Facilities.
To be eligible for the Indians Baseball Club players must be 28 and older (or must turn 28 during the 2007 calendar year). Interested? For more details call Rick at (719) 648-9695 or email at
