Hiring private investigators to investigate America's homeowners association cabals

Florissant, Colorado -

Has any HOA homeowner reading (or writing) here on AHRC ever hired a Private Investigator ("P.I.") to "get the [criminal, ethical, moral, political] goods on" HOA board members (and members of their cabals), Community Associations Institute (CAI) lawyers-lobbyists, state legislators, developers, builders, and other "HOA Industry" people?

And what about using a P.I. before one files a civil lawsuit [or talks to their local District Attorney about a criminal action] against their HOA? Has any HOA homeowner ever done that? Or are P.I.'s just hired to ferret out criminal behavior?

I ask because I have a friend who hired a P.I. in her lawsuit against one of her neighbors. Turned out that she had good reason to suspect "foul play" in connection with her neighbor's behavior and she won her case. Probably wouldn't have won it without the information her P.I. gave her.

Often, it appears that HOA boards and their "HOA Industry" cabals are very shrewd in their dictatorial maneuverings against homeowners (often under the tutelage of their CAI attorney), so it's very hard for the homeowner to win in court. Course, when the judge in their case is part of the HOA Industry, it's impossible to win anyhow. But how about politically? That is, if the residents of a whole town, city, state knew what was really going on with these devil's children because of the investigations of a P.I., wouldn't that alone tend to put a damper on their dictatorial HOA behavior.

And wouldn't it be less costly for the homeowner, money-wise, in the long run, than having to go through the whole legal exercise with just a lawyer in tow? Maybe, once the HOA Industry got the message that we HOA homeowners are deadly serious about finding logic and reason (and justice) in our communities and our judicial systems, it might make a difference?

Just wondering about stuff on this wintry night in Colorado.
