Take Doodling to New Heights
Contributed by: Crystal Babos on 4/24/2008

Local artist taking the art of doodling to new heights

Sedalia, CO - 4/23/2008

Local artist John Babos is presenting "Compositions of the Doodle", a whimsical look at what can be done with one's time while in constrained situations. The drawings are on display in the Lucy Owens Gallery at the Tri - Lakes Center for the Arts in Palmer Lake CO. now through May 17, 2008.

These pen and ink, drawings like the one seen here represent an array of unusual subjects all centered on the art of doodling while on hold with a tech service rep, sitting in a meeting trying not to fall asleep or waiting for a flight at DIA. Visitor hours at the Center are Tuesday through Saturday from 12 - 4 pm. Take a drive north from Monument along scenic Hwy 105 to the Tri-Lakes Center and see what extraordinary details can come about while doodling.

Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts (a.k.a the old Kaiser Frazier building) is located at 304 Hwy 105, Palmer Lake, Co. 80133. For more information about "Compositions of the Doodle" and the Tri Lakes Center for the Arts call 719 - 481 - 0475 or visit their web site at www.trilakesarts.org
