Snowy roads didn't stop Holiday Market fans
Contributed by: Wendy Daniels-Gillam on 12/13/2007

The Holiday Market Open House went on despite cold, snow, and a cancelled parade. The Open House was last Saturday. It had been planned to coincide with the Manitou Springs Christmas parade, which is not rescheduled for Saturday. This annual Commonwheel Artists Co-op event - along with some hot apple cider and home-baked cookies - left art fans with a cozy holiday feeling. There was live music, and of course beautiful handcrafted gift items created by over 50 Colorado artists.

If bad roads kept you away, no worries, the Holiday Market continues through December 31 (We still have cookies and cider!). Peaceful and creative holidays to all from the Commonwheel artists!
