Local girl makes good as professional artist

I am a Studio Artist at the Business of Arts Center in Manitou Springs I ama painter specializing in large commission pieces done in oils. I received a Fine Arts degree with a Business minor from the University of Colorado at Boulder.I amcurrently working on a commission from the Navigators. Their building overlooks gorgeous views of Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. Iwill be creating four large paintings of Glen Eyrie castle during each season, as well as four portraits of founders.

I grew up in Colorado Springs and am a graduate of Cheyenne Mountain High School. I will be getting married this summer and continuing my art career in Denver.

WOW! I just visited Glen Eyrie castle 2 weeks ago with friends from Mississippi and what an amazing painting of the castle. I will definitely visit the bookstore in the future and see what copies are available. Keep up the good work and congratulations on your upcoming wedding Jillian!
