Tim.. I was a G & T paper boy back from the mid 40's to early 50's. At one time I had both the morning and evening routes from 29th st west to Adams Crossing. Then when the Free Press started. I delivered it in the same area. I have never known the Gazette to hold a newspaper boy reunion, festival or whatever... How about working via the Old Colorado City hub and work up something unheard of and very unusual... make it a pre 1960 approach. OCCHS would probably work with you. You could even have a contest and see which paper boy could recall the most interesting life story related to his route. For you info....I was an AFAcademy admissions Liaison officer for some 14 years (reserve position) and two things that were evident and stood out in the early nominees that became cadets... the majority had been a paper boy and in Boy Scouts !... something to chew on for awhile, Kenneth L.
