2008 Cemetery Walking Tour

What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS The 8th annual Evergreen Cemetery Walking tour is a much anticipated yearly event and this year's tour will include new stories and characters. Costumed guides will escort groups every 15 minutes through Evergreen Cemetery and stop at 10 locations where re enactors will tell the story of a pioneer who is buried there. Some are famous and some are not but that doesn't make their stories less compelling. Each tour lasts from 2 1/2 to 3 hours. The last tour will leave at 12:30pm. Experience has shown that most crowds come at 10am to 10:30am and there may be a waiting time before enough tour guides can escort those large numbers out so please be patient! Parking assitance for handicapped will be set aside. At this time there is no way to provide assistance for people who cannot physically walk the entire route. Comfortable walking shoes are suggested. Some chairs will be placed at each stop for people that can't stand to hear the presentation as they have been in previous tours.
