Blog Entry 127 of 131 Wildlife Happenings at EWRC
Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is a 501 c 3 nonprofit with principal programs of Wildlife Rehabilitation, Community Outreach and Education, and Volunteerism. As our facility is not open to the Public for wildlife viewing, we hope our blog allows people in our community to see the work we do and appreciate the wildlife we all share our environment with. We are an all-volunteer organization that provides services throughout the State of Colorado. We rely on donations to provide services, as we are not funded by any agency. We provide care to wildlife ONLY and are licensed for all birds, including all birds of prey, as well as small mammals. We hope you find the blog entertaining, useful, and fun. We're open to suggestions on how to improve as well!

Donna Ralph, Founder of Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, has published a book, Critter Chronicles, available at iUniverse, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.

The book is a journey chronicling the life of this home-based wildlife rehabber and her work with the animals she loves. Enjoy reading stories of birds and other critters that came to rehab from all over the State and learn what each of us can do to help care for one of our most precious natural resources-our native wildlife.

Excuse my mispelling of congratulations. Perhaps that is one of the struggles I must overcome on the long road to publication. :)

I'm really looking forward to reading it. I ordered it a few days ago from amazon.com and fiancee told me yesterday evening that it had been shipped (it's her amazon account). It's wonderful that there are people like yourself who dedicate their time to such a worthy cause. I look forward to reading it and as always to reading your posts. Have a great day. I'll let you know when the book arrives. Contratulations on the publishing, always a struggle for writers.

Hi Stephen- Thank you! The cover is a picture I took of a baby saw-whet owl that came to rehab last summer. After that one came, his 2 siblings joined him. All were released healthy back home later on.
