iT'Z Food & Fun has announced a summer educational program just in time for May's National Book Month. Parents: iT'Z a great way to get kids turning those pages!
Located in the Stetson Hills neighborhood off NE Powers Blvd., iT'Z is partnering with local libraries throughout Colorado Springs to coordinate the Summer Reading Program. For each book that children read, they receive five game points that they can use when visiting iT'Z. All books are recorded on the kid's special reading logs and verified by librarians and parents. Kids can read up to 10 books for a total of 50 game points!
From the popular Harry Potter and Goosebumps series to favorites like
Green Eggs and Ham and
Charlotte's Web, kids can choose the book of their choice, get a librarian's signature and start on their adventure! Summer reading logs are available at the store (3035 New Center Point).
iT'Z is home to the area's only indoor thrill rides and offers more than 150 video and redemption games, themed dining rooms, free wireless capabilities and an incredible food buffet of pizza, pasta, salad, desserts and more.
