School, Group & Club Mind Seizure Haunted House Fundraisers

Mind Seizure is Colorado Springs oldest and most successful haunted house that originated from a household basement over two decades ago. Mind Seizure has evolved into an intense interactive theatrical production that combines high tech props, sounds, and special lighting effects with live actors and quality sets, costumes and makeup to create a terrifying Halloween experience.

For the past several years, Mind Seizures Haunted House has found a home at the Colorado Springs Flea Market 5225 E. Platte (Powers & Platte). Mind Seizure will be open every Thursday - Sunday starting Sept. 26 - Oct. 19. We will then be open every day from Oct. 23 - Nov. 1.

The Legend

Many in our town have tried to keep quiet about the story you are about to read. Terror such as this, however, cannot be restrained. In the early spring of 1963, a young research doctor named Richard Ivan Patterson purchased an old building and filled it with a labyrinth of "test" rooms.

Dr. Patterson's interest was the concept of fear. His goal was to determine the limits of the human mind. He worked to determine how much fear the human mind could withstand before being pushed irretrievably into the limits of madness! Dr. Patterson, or Dr. Shock as the locals called him, termed this transformation from sanity to madness and called this diagnoses "MIND SEIZURE." Have Fun, Raise Money by Selling Mind Seizure Tickets! Here is how it works.

· Mind Seizures Haunted House entrance ticket prices are $15 per person one time visit, the AMP FAST PASS is only $5 more and gets you to the head of the line (no waiting).

· Your school, group or organization will sell the advance Mind Seizure tickets for the regular price of $15 good for any night that Mind Seizure is open, for every ticket sold your Fund Raiser earns $2. Example if 30 members of your group sold 10 tickets each, 300 tickets total you earn $600. 500 tickets sold $1,000!

· Tapia Advertising Inc. is Mind Seizure Haunted House exclusive Fund Raiser Company, Tapia Advertising meets with faculty, students and organizers as soon as possible to plan and strategize your upcoming fundraiser to assure its success. We help to organize your Committee and execute the fundraiser. Tapia Advertising helps by consulting with the fundraiser to assist in the events advertising and promotions, we can create an event launch and Kick off Party for Your event. A bulk amount of tickets is assigned to you (amount to be determined) we elect a treasurer responsible for funds and establishing time lines and deadlines for the fundraiser.

· Mind Seizure Haunted House and Tapia Advertising supports your fundraiser by providing full four color 11" x 17" promotional posters with your school or organization logo and contact information printed on them to promote your fundraiser on your campus or school (amount to be determined). We can provide a CD or MP3 of Mind Seizures radio commercial (60 seconds) to play on the schools Public address system during your daily announcements, upon request we can modify the commercial to include your Fund Raiser contact information at the end.
