Back From War and Can't Sleep?
Contributed by: Anne Wein on 7/16/2008

Whenever I pick up the paper and read about men and women returning from active combat, they always mention that they can't sleep and have nightmares. I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Northern Colorado and am currently recruiting participants for my research "The Lived Phenomenon of Sleep in Persons with Combat Related PTSD." If you are a man or woman who is post deployed or in between deployments from any theater of war and are at least 18 yrs. old or older you may be interested in participating in the study. Participation involves telling your story about your experience of sleep after traumatic combat exposure. All information is confidential. You will receive a free, high quality memory foam pillow (valued at $75 - $120) for your participation. For more information, please contact me at anneboydwein@gmail.com
