This beautiful state of Colorado has to be the best place in the country to do photography.Since moving here in "2005"I have not put my "Cannon" EOS digital camera down except to sleep. It is just so beautiful here in Colorado, and theres so much to see and shoot.I started shooting Rodeo pictures in "2006"and haven't stopped.
I think I will tell you first why I moved to this beautiful part of the country, before telling you about the pictures that I took at the "Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo".I think you will find this story almost as interesting as the pictures that are attached
Back in "67" I met this wonderful man who was in the Navy stationed in Newport R.I. we fell in love ,got married, had a child in" 69" ,had some problems ,got divorced in "74".To make a long story short he married here in the Springs lost his wife after 25 years, I got divorced after 25 years in Pitts. where I was living at the time. We just completely lost contac with one another for 32 years. Then one of our old friends found out where I was and gave him my tel.# He then made that first tel. call, started asking questions about what I was doing and about our son. There reunion was beautiful. He then asked me to come to the Springs which I did in"05". When getting off that plane in Denver ,it was like we had never been apart for all those years .We just hugged and kissed ,he then picked me up just like in the movies and wouldn't let me go. And that is how I got to this wonderful state of Colorado. Since getting off that plane we haven't left each others side.

I love the pictures. I haven't been to a rodeo in a while, but I think it'll be a stop next year. Thanks for putting this on Yourhub.
