Computer Novice II

What:	This course follows Computer Novice I. It covers the basic use of Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and PowerPoint utilizing Office 2000. MS Word covers creating, saving, and finding files; working with menus and toolbars, inserting text, basic formatting, drawing objects, and many other topics essential in the day-to-day use. MS Excel includes a basic understanding of Excel 2000, Microsoft's powerful spreadsheet application. Areas discussed include the Excel 2000 environment, entering and editing data, using simple formulas, using functions, formatting text and numbers, working with multiple worksheets, creating charts, and printing spreadsheets. MS PowerPoint provides a solid foundation for using Power Point 2000, Microsoft's presentation application. Topics include creating a presentation, inserting objects and hyperlinks, adding animation and many other subjects essential in the use of PowerPoint 2000. $75/6 sessions; Limit: 15 (max.), 8 (min.) - open to the public Pre-registration required.
