TURN IN YOUR BALLOT

We usually think of poverty in terms of economics, like the the 42% of our children in School District 11 who are eligible for Free Lunches. I believe that the greatest poverty is that of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for.

We're voting for the people who will lead the D11 school board. Think about the impact of this D11 school board election. Review the candidates' qualifications, issues and priorities for all of our children's education.

We want our focus to be on All of our children's education. Yet only 12,000 of the 80,000 ballots have been returned to the County Clerk and Recorder's office (about 11%). Please show that you care for all of our children by returning your ballot to the County Clerk and Recorder's office.

Ballots must be in to the County Clerk and Recorder's office by 7 PM on Tuesday, November 6. If you haven't mailed your ballot by Friday, November 2, then you need to drop your ballot off at one of the following locations:

DOWNTOWN OFFICE
200 South Cascade Avenue
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
CHAPEL HILLS OFFICE
(On North side next to JC Penny)
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
POWERS OFFICE
5650 Industrial Place
(Southeast corner of Powers Blvd. and Airport Rd.)
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
