Wilson Family went "Scouting for Food"!

Last Tuesday Liane Wilson decided to go "Scouting for Food". She had set up a date with the store manager at King Soopers on Union Blvd. and Briargate Blvd. the Thursday prior to the date. It was supposed to be a scout pack event but due to spring break she did it only with her kids, Jordan, who is a Girl Scout with Troop 931, Mikey, who is a Wolf Scout with Pack 70 and Cody, who will be a Tiger Scout this year. She thought that this was good enough to get started and was surprised on the amount of food they all collected. The best part about the whole thing is that the food will go to the local people of Black Forest. Liane will bring the food to the Black Forest Lutheran Church. The Church has set up a food pantry for local folks of Black Forest. Liane found this out by accident and thought that is would be a good idea to keep the food that their pack collects local to the community.
