Tony Award Winning Gershwin Show "CRAZY FOR YOU"

"Crazy For You" is Pine Creek's spring musical. This 1992 Tony award-winning show will have you toe-tapping to the hits of George and Ira Gershwin. Performances will run at 7 p.m. April 4-7in the auditorium. Theater-goers will swoon to "Someone to Watch Over Me," "Nice Work If You Can Get It," and "Embraceable You" and will dance in their seats to "I've Got Rhythm" and "Stiff Upper Lip." The
production involves approximately 90 performers, band members and technicians and is a must-see during the week after spring break! Synopsis: Bobby Child has a dream of being a song and dance man on Broadway in the 1930s. Unfortunately, his wealthy mother wants him to lead the life of a banker and sends him to Deadrock, Nev., to foreclose on a theater owned by Polly Baker and her father. Bobby falls instantly in love with the feisty postmistress of this one-woman town and spends the rest of the musical trying towin her heart and save her theater. He invites his friends and the girls from the Zangler Follies to come to Deadrock to put on a show. With the help of the local cowboys, they pull off the show and he does indeed get the girl in the end. Jam-packed with hit after Gershwin hit, "Crazy For You" is a delightful evening of American musical theater for the whole family.
