Originally from Houston, a city where she has won awards in The Houston Press for everything from Best Guitarist, Vocalist, Songwriter, Blues, to Release of the Year and Musician of the Year virtually sweeping the awards for 5 years from the time she was a teenager. Ms. Wonderland now resides in Austin, Texas. Years of touring are evident in both the maturity of the songs and the tightness of her band.

Miss Understood, was produced by nine-time Grammy winner Ray Benson of the band Asleep At The Wheel. Recorded in Austin, the album features 6 new songs from Carolyn, as well as choice selections from

Wonderland's songs have been featured on network dramas including NBC's "homicide" and Fox's "Time Of Your Life." Also, Carolyn has been selected to perform for her hometown's most famous musical export, Austin City Limits (to be broadcast in the fall of 2008 on PBS Television).
